On Sep. 20, 2017, Prof. Zheyu Fang from Peking University and Dr. Bingzhi Zhang from Guangzhou University paid a visit to the Advanced Photonics Center of the School of Electronic Science and Engineering. They had a good communication with the faculties of the lab and the graduate students. They also gave lectures “Plasmonic Hot Electrons Doping of 2D Materials” and “Study on the nonlinear mode of optical complex field in PT system”.
Prof. Zheyu Fang’s research interests are mainly in the surface plasmons focusing, propagation, and near-field characterization. From 2009，he have published more than 80 peer reviewed papers in Nano Lett.，ACS Nano，Adv. Mater.，Nature Comm., Phys. Rev. and other high profile journals, including more than 50 paper with the first or corresponding author, cited more than 4000 times (Google Scholar Citation),H factor 25. Related works have been featured reported by Science, Nature Physics, NPG Asia Materials, Chemical & Engineering News, Nanowerk, Nanotechweb.org, and Sciencenet in China.
Dr. Bingzhi Zhang is an associate professor in the School of Electronic Engineering at Guangzhou University. His research interests are mainly in the nonlinear optics, optical information processing. He have published more than 20 papers in recent years.
